James C. Beaty is an international trade attorney providing counsel in trade remedy and customs proceedings and litigation. Mr. Beaty assists clients with matters before a variety of federal agencies and has been involved in proceedings covering agricultural commodities, machine components and industrial textiles.

Prior to joining Mowry & Grimson, Mr. Beaty interned for the agriculture and general counsel’s offices of the United States Trade Representative as well as the U.S. House of Representatives Ways and Means Subcommittee on International Trade. Before entering the legal profession, Mr. Beaty worked for the international section of a government relations firm, working on issues including government-to-government relations, CFIUS compliance and international economic development.
